We Had a BLAST!

First...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, K-MAN! 38 and still young (very young!) at heart!

So a few of you knew that we were going on a family outing on Sunday. Yes...we really did it. We went to see Weird Al!!

I wish I were a good enough fibber to get you all to believe that we only went for the kids....but you wouldn't believe that even if I tried to convince you : )

We had a FANTASTIC time. It was even better than we expected. It wasn't just a good show, but it was also pretty clean (only one spot that got a little too adult). There were numerous costume changes (Jake's favorite was the heart boxers with the pink tutu) and a good mix of his old and new material. Our faves are below.

Jake was very excited when he sang The Saga Begins. The song came complete with Darth Vader and Storm Troopers dancing back up.

Hannah really liked I'll Sue Ya. His suit on this one was a bit hard on the eyes (shiny silver), but it is a great song lamenting the stupidity of our nations facination with litigation.

Kermit and I agreed that our favorite was Albuquerque. Where else can you hear a song that talks about saurkrat, hermaphrodites, snorkels, donuts and weasels? Folks, it doesn't get much better than this!

Anyway, it was a great time and well worth the investment for 2 1/2 hours of show. If he comes to a venue near you, take the time to go. You won't be disappointed!
