Hannah in the Spotlight

So... the other day when I came home, Kermit told me we had received a call from the school. I braced myself for whatever was to come next since these calls usually are not good (the last one was two weeks ago when Jacob was suspended for taking part in a food fight - that is a different blog for a different day).

ANYWAY...

Hannah's language arts teacher had called to let us know that Hannah had been selected to make a presentation to the school board about why she thinks the schools behavioral program works well and what she likes about it (I know...interesting in light of my comments on Jacob from the first paragraph).

ANYWAY...

Tonight we had the pleasure of watching Hannah as she boldly went before the school board to tell them why she likes PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Systems) and how it motivates her to be a well behaved Gavin student.

We were SO PROUD of her. We then marvelled at the differences that God has designed in our children. I don't know where He will ultimately lead them in life, but I can guarantee they will define success and reach "success" in completely oposite ways!

Wow! I don't even know where to begin...first, where did the time go? Second, Hannah, I am so proud of you!! Third, Kermit and Candy, God has blessed you both with not only wonderful children, but an amazing talent with raising them well. Keep following Him and trusting Him for the outcome! I love you all so much!!

PS...can't wait to hear the Jacob story...I bet it's a doozy!!
